Calling for all Brussels sprouts lover! This is a perfect side dish for winter party and very easy to cook. Learned from Gordon Ramsay.

This time, I followed Gordon Ramsay’s recipe to cook Brussels sprouts. It was easy to cook and the ingredients were very simple. You can do it in one pan. I never thought chestnuts would work so well with bacon and Brussels sprouts!

Let’s watch Gordon Ramsay how to make this perfect side dish.

What I Adjust for a Healthier Approach

Gordon Ramsay puts salt in the bacon, I thought won’t it be too salty? So I just added a little salt and pepper to the Brussels sprouts for extra flavour. Besides, bacon is fatty and it will release oil when frying. I didn’t add so much oil when heating the pan.

How Do I Serve It

This recipe is designed for a party’s side dish. I don’t want to wait for any party as I LOVE its taste so much! For an ordinary lunch, I paired it with a creamy beet tortiglioni. The amount of spaghetti was a little less than usual considered we had a starter. For 2 people, I cooked 130 g pasta (I usually cook 160 g).
