Sonny Stores is the first restaurant made me think: ‘Who say there’s no good food in the UK?’ Absolutely WRONG! Look at these dishes!

5 weeks ahead booked in advance – A long waited and top rated restaurant, soon made me want to book another table again.

As a weekdays vegetarian, I’m obsessed with their vegetarian dishes and a little meaty flavour offerings. A carefully and consciously chosen, veg and meat well balanced menu, is able to please every picky eater and let them leave with a warm smile, plus a full and happy tummy.

The pizzetta, means a small pizza, which I’ve been longly craving for, earned my “OH MY GOD IT LOOKS SO GOOD!” through out the struggling of cutting it. The real fermented wheat aroma plus chewy every bite, well deserved the DING DONG!

Though it’s a little big for 2 people, I (as well as Curry Boy), still could manage to K.O. the veggie main dishes, simply because they were the super stars in this dinner.

The Potato Al Forno (oven roasted thinly sliced potato) , heavenly synchronised with the salsa coated aubergine and pangratatto(toasted bread crumbs). And their pasta, like a ravioli, stuffed with slow cooked zucchini and pecorino cheese, OH MY. Never knew such a homey dumpling could taste so good especially when you drizzled with lemon zest butter.

And for the service, you don’t have to worry about anything, they will take good care of you. We were perfectly recommended with the 4 dishes, as I could tell the server genuinely loves.

One more point which helps them achieved the A+++. They don’t add any service charge to the bill. If you like the service (and food), you pay what you want, and I think you will.

Tell you what, I didn’t realised that I was eating in a Italian specialised restaurant, until the review, the all senses play back. What a twisted Italian flare.
